You can book online 24/7 via Doctolib for a consultation at the Private Hospital Beauregard (Building B5 ICOGM, 23 Rue des Linots, Marseille 13004). Dr. Maazouzi sees patients by appointment only.
Yes, Dr. Maazouzi practises in Sector 2 at the Private Hospital Beauregard. Carte Vitale is accepted. Social Security reimburses 70% of the conventional tariff. We recommend checking your supplementary insurance cover for any top-up fees.
vNOTES (Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) is a gynaecological surgical technique performed without an abdominal incision. Benefits include faster recovery, less post-operative pain and no visible scar. Dr. Maazouzi holds a University Diploma in vaginal and pelvic surgery and trained at IRCAD Strasbourg.
Yes — Dr. Maazouzi provides full diagnosis and treatment for endometriosis: clinical assessment, pelvic ultrasound, MRI guidance, hormonal therapy and laparoscopic surgery. She also supports patients with endometriosis-related infertility.
Dr. Maazouzi consults in French, English, Spanish and Arabic, ensuring each patient can be followed in their preferred language.
The first consultation lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Dr. Maazouzi reviews your medical and family history, performs a tailored clinical examination and answers all your questions. Additional tests (ultrasound, cervical smear, hormonal workup) may be prescribed according to your needs.
A cervical smear is recommended every 3 years between ages 25 and 29. From age 30, an HPV test replaces the smear and is done every 5 years until age 65. In the event of an abnormal result, Dr. Maazouzi can perform a colposcopy.
Yes — Dr. Maazouzi diagnoses and manages PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome): complete hormonal workup, ovarian ultrasound, tailored medical treatment and long-term follow-up.
Hysteroscopy allows direct visualisation of the uterine cavity via a thin camera. It can be diagnostic or operative (removal of polyps, submucosal fibroids). The procedure is performed as a day case at the Private Hospital Beauregard and is generally well tolerated.
Management of prolapse depends on its type and severity. After a clinical assessment and, if necessary, an MRI, Dr. Maazouzi will propose an appropriate treatment: pelvic floor rehabilitation, a vaginal pessary, or surgery (laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy or vNOTES) when conservative measures fail.
During a consultation, Dr. Maazouzi will assess the most suitable contraception for you: combined or progestogen-only pill, copper or hormonal IUD, subcutaneous implant, patch or vaginal ring. The choice depends on your medical history, lifestyle and preferences — no single solution fits all.
